Closeup of the heavily prototyped motor mechanism of the index
finger of the hand.  This will obviously need to be refined to increase the
durability.  Also, I'd rather like the mechanism to run through the inside of
the finger which is hollow.  This would protect the moving parts.  I'm
working on several approaches to solve this.
